Board Committees
📶 Traditional Committees
Working directly with our Founding Board Members, we focus on the 4 committees. Our board is made-up of the community, young adults, and youth.
Our fundraising projects are unique and focus on what everyday individuals and micro-entrepreneurs care about. We do not have a separate committee, our board join in on our activities providing support whereever they can, through their networks and strategic ideas.
Our Founding Board members help us keep compliant and work together with our team to work on strategic plans. Other board members join if they have the desire and skill set. All board members vote on important initiatives.
We share the financial state of the organization with the board of directors. Given that we are a community-based, grass-roots organization and socially disadvantaged status, we work with our board to keep giving goals at minimum and support in fundraising to make up the other portion.
A Board Recruitment Committee helps us identify, attract, and onboard passionate new board members. We are a community board, therefore, we recruit members from the local areas, not just executives. Youth and Young Adults are very important to us and relevant to the success of ReachBack. Given our mission is to build community wealth and career development, we believe it's our duty to recruit youth and young rising professionals to help them build their career credentials.
