The Board Giving Model
The Board Giving Model
🪙 The Board Giving Model is essential for the reputation of a nonprofit in the eyes of grant makers and sponsors.
At ReachBack, we prioritize educating our board members.
It’s vital for us to understand that Board Giving is standard practice for nonprofits, and it plays a critical role in building a strong, sustainable organization.
A robust Board Giving model shows grant makers that our board is not only engaged but also committed to the mission. Grant makers often look for this when evaluating nonprofits, as it demonstrates a caring and dedicated board, which is a key factor in ensuring long-term success.
To maintain this strong foundation, we ask our working professionals to contribute $250 annually and our non-working professionals to contribute $25 per year. These contributions are crucial to the growth and impact of our programs.
In addition, we encourage all board members to participate in our creative fundraising opportunities which will help pay for your "board contribution". These efforts go hand-in-hand with board giving, ensuring we remain proactive in sustaining and expanding ReachBack’s reach and influence.
